New Conductor for the Albuquerque Concert Band
Mr. John Sanks, after having been the conductor and musical director of the ACB for twenty-five years, recently retired from his conducting responsibilities. John always made sure the band would perform at its highest level of ability and provide a wonderful musical experience for our audiences. His dedication to the ACB is greatly appreciated. He is still with the band and now performs in the trombone section. We began a search for his replacement and, over the Summer, had a number of outstanding candidates who advanced to the final stage of consideration as guest conductors for our Summer concerts.
